Welcome to Carlsbad Integrative Medical Center, Inc. (CIMC)! We are so grateful to have you as our patient and we hope that this information about our clinic is helpful in understanding our policies and procedures. We like to think of CIMC as the culmination of our dreams. The clinic was made possible by the combination of amazing physicians and healthcare practitioners that decided to change the way that healthcare is delivered.
We created CIMC for you! Our patients are our passion and we are here to help you on your healthcare journey. We hope to create a one-of-a-kind healing experience where YOU are actually the driving force behind YOUR healthcare. Our practitioners are here to assist you on your journey and help you navigate through the, sometimes complicated, treatment options that are available. We strive to give you the tools and treatment options you need to gain and maintain optimal health.

Canceled or Missed (no-show) appointments
We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations for work or family. Unfortunately, when you do not call to cancel your appointment, you may be preventing other patients from getting much-needed treatment. For that reason, if an appointment is not canceled in advance (weekends excluded) you will be charged a fee.
$75.00 (established patient) in the event that I cancel my medical appointment in less than 48 business hours, or do not show up for the appointment, OR $50.00 (for IV therapy), in the event that I cancel my medical appointment in less than 48 business hours, or do not show up for the appointment, OR $150.00 (for a new patient) in the event that I cancel my medical appointment in less than 48 hours, or do not show up for the appointment.
Late Arrival for an appointment
We understand that delays can happen in your life and there may be times when you arrive late for your appointment. We must stay on schedule during our workday to make sure that every one of our patients gets valuable time with their healthcare practitioner. In most instances, if you are more than ten (10) minutes late for your appointment, we will have to reschedule for a different day.

If you have questions about billing please call Our Office Manager, Abby at 760-444-5544. She will be available to help clarify any charges you receive from CIMC and answer any questions you may have.

Patient Code of Conduct
The Doctors and staff at Carlsbad Integrative Medical Center, Inc. strive to create a pleasant atmosphere for our patients. We believe that the physician-patient relationship should be built on trust, mutual respect, as well as interactions being conducted in a professional manner. We understand that navigating through the healthcare process can sometimes be frustrating; however, under no circumstances will the following behaviors be tolerated:
- Verbal abuse or disrespect to staff members/physicians or other patients
- Physical abuse of any kind
- Repeated missed appointments (Three or more)
- Lie or abuse controlled prescriptions
We reserve the right to terminate our relationship with any patient that we feel has been disrespectful, vulgar, or abusive to any of our staff members/physicians or other patients. We don’t foresee this happening; however, we want to maintain a safe and comfortable work environment for our employees and patients. The decision to terminate our relationship will come from your treating practitioner and will be made to you formally in writing. In the event of a patient’s discharge, all immediate family members of the said patient will be discharged due to obvious foreseen complications and difficulties.
